Questions and answers
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes before your time. That's enough to change into a robe and talk through the hour. If you arrive late we shorten your treatment so the next guest isn't kept waiting.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable on the way in. We give you a robe, slippers and a locker. For massage you undress to your comfort and stay covered by a sheet.
Can I use a gift card on a package?
Yes. A gift card works for any treatment, ritual or package, for any amount.
Can two of us come together?
Yes. Two guests can be booked at the same time with two therapists. Call the front desk for a group of three or more.
I'm pregnant. Can I book a massage?
Josephine is trained in prenatal massage. Please check with your doctor first and tell us when you book.
How do I move or cancel a visit?
Tell us at least 48 hours ahead and we'll move it without any trouble. The policies page explains what happens with shorter notice.
What is the difference between a ritual and a package?
A ritual is one treatment, or a few, in a fixed order, such as Slow Morning. A package puts rituals and treatments together for a longer visit or for two guests.
Do you have a sauna or steam room?
No. The heat we use is a warmed table, hot towels, warm stones and a warm wrap. The policies page says who should ask a doctor first.
Can I leave my phone in the lounge?
Please keep it in your locker or on silent. The lounge and the rooms are kept quiet, and there are no photos where guests are changing or resting.
Do you take walk-ins?
Most visits are booked ahead, but if there is an opening we will fit you in. Call the front desk first.
